Aerial Event Coverage
Aerial event coverage that captures the scale, atmosphere and full turnout of an occasion from a perspective the crowd never sees.
Capture the scale nobody on the ground can see
Drone event coverage records an occasion the way it actually felt — full, alive and bigger than any single ground camera can frame. An aerial pass over a packed festival ground, a sporting field or a launch shows the turnout, the layout and the energy in one shot. That footage proves attendance to sponsors, anchors a recap film, and gives organisers a hero image for next year’s promotion.
We deliver a tight package of aerial highlights and stills, edited to capture the atmosphere while giving you assets you can use across reporting, marketing and social.
Content that works long after the day
Event footage does double duty. In the moment, an aerial establishing shot gives your recap film scale and a sense of occasion no ground camera can match. Afterwards, the same assets become some of the most valuable marketing you own: proof of turnout for sponsors and grant reports, a hero image for next year’s promotion, and social content that captures the energy of a packed ground far better than a wide-angle from the stage. Because we shoot to a timed plan, we can capture the site during build, at peak, and through headline moments — so the highlight edit reflects how the day actually unfolded rather than a single fly-over.
Who it’s for
- Event organisers and promoters documenting scale and turnout
- Sponsors and brands needing proof-of-audience content
- Festivals, sporting bodies and community events building recap and promo material
- Venues showcasing their space at full capacity
What’s included
- A 4K highlight edit set to licensed music
- Edited aerial stills of the venue and crowd
- A vertical and square social cut for fast sharing
- Time-stamped establishing shots for reporting
- Raw clips supplied on request
- Multiple passes across the event timeline where the schedule allows
Coverage is planned around your run sheet so flights land on the moments that matter — the entrance procession, the headline act, the fireworks, the full crowd at capacity — rather than whatever happens to be in frame. Where conditions and approvals allow, we pair aerial coverage with a ground operator so the final edit cuts between scale and detail — the sweeping wide of a full arena against the close energy of the front row. That mix is what makes a recap film feel like the event rather than a distant record of it.
Our process
- Brief — we confirm the run sheet, key moments and the coverage you need.
- Site and airspace check — venue access, crowd areas and the airspace overhead are assessed ahead of the day.
- Shoot — planned flights timed to peak moments and full turnout.
- Edit — highlight assembly, grade, music and social variants.
- Delivery — files supplied via download, typically within 3–5 business days.
Airspace and safety
Our CASA-certified pilots operate under CASA standard operating conditions. Flying near or over people and crowds requires specific planning, and any operation over a gathering, or within controlled airspace near aerodromes, is subject to CASA approval assessed live for your booking. We confirm the coverage we can safely deliver at your venue before the event, and plan flight paths around public areas accordingly.
